Scramblin' for Time is a 2D platformer where you must clear a single repeating level on a time limit, with each iteration adding more obstacles.
Developed over 5 days for the GMTK Game Jam 2025, themed "Loop". My team and I settled on the time-travelling narrative first before focusing on how the gameplay would
enforce the theme. Placing the core game in a repeating room not only saved us time in designing levels, but also allowed us to put a lot of focus into polishing.
As a result, the game would go on to rank in the Top 100 out of over 9.000 entries, with players pointing out the music, game feel, and artstyle.
